Swadhyaya – Tattwa Bodh – Part 2
Swadhyaya is an integral part of any yogic and spiritual discipline. Knowledge of the scriptures and actions based on this knowledge form the two wings using which the swan soars high gracefully. In absence of either one of the two, the flight stands aborted. Swadhyaya forms an important way of building both knowledge and action on Yoga in our lives.
After successfully completing the Swadhyaya of Tattwa Bodh part 1, Satyam Sumiran Yoga Research Foundation is pleased to announce the fourth Swadhyaya Satra on Tattwa Bodh, (concluding part).
Sutras covered in Part 1 will also be revised in the initial part of the sessions.
Like the previous Swadhyaya Satra will:-
- Cover one new Sutra each day from Monday to Friday to allow participants to think about the Sutra during the day and find its meaning as it might apply to their lives.
- Delve deeper into the meaning of these Sutras covered during the week in the Swadhyaya session to be held every Sunday for 12 weeks, including the revision sessions.
Each Swadhyaya Satra allows serious yoga practitioners to:
- Gain a deeper understanding of the science and philosophy of Yoga and Vedanta
- Understand the relevance of the Science of Yoga in our lives
- Learn to apply these principles and enrich ourselves.
Who can attend
Swadhyaya Satra is meant for participants who wish to understand the deeper meaning of human existence as elucidated by Masters like Maharshi Patanjali and Bhagavadpada Adi Shankara and apply the timeless wisdom in their lives.
Prior knowledge of Part 1 of Tattwa Bodh will be beneficial before starting Chapter 2. However, the same will be revised again in the beginning sessions.
