The SSYRF team has undertaken several projects for the welfare of our society. The projects use the healing and uplifting tools to manage and channelize the mind and the body. The simplest and most effective method to manage the mind is to selflessly reach out to others and experiencing ‘Atmabhava’ while helping those in need. This creates a win: win situation where all segments of society stand to benefit and progress hand-in-hand. The aim of all projects is to bring in a holistic economic, social development, provide physical and mental wellbeing, and usher in self-sufficiency especially in the neglected sectors of the society, including women, children, adults, and the elderly.

Our projects are oriented toward Gram Samvardhan – Rural/Semi-rural enrichment and Atma Samvardhan – Self-enrichment in the Urban society.

Centenary Celebration

Pujya Gurudev Paramahamsa Swami Satyananda Saraswati who was born in 1923, came as a messenger of the Divine Energy as a bright light of hope who touched and is still touching the lives of millions. He culminated all his teachings into the ancient system of Yajna - as a means of exploding the hibernating Consciousness within us. He revived this ancient science of Yajna as a form of Yoga Ecology. Ecology – both external and internal.
Based on this thought “तेरा तुझको अर्पण क्या लागे मेरा….”, SSYRF has taken a sankalpa to offer an entire mala of activities based on his teachings as an offering to him. The yajnas he conducted were unique and multidimensional. Swamiji has said that a yajna has 3 important components
  1. Yoga Ecology – the fire ceremony
  2. Yogic teachings – Satsang for self-improvement
  3. Daan – Selfless offering of that which is most dear to us, to someone who needs it the most.
    • Vidya Daan – Offering educational skills
    • Kala Daan – Skill development for better livelihood
    • Aarogya Daan – Medical camps and Healthcare activities to promote wellness and treat illness
The activities dedicated to him will contain all these 3 components.
SSYRF has identified about 15 locations covering both rural as well as urban areas, where these activities will be carried out on basis of the local requirements over 15 to 18 months.
