Malnourishment is the bane of any society. It curses the
children, even before their birth, to lead a life of misery, pain and
illnesses. If a society needs to progress, removal of malnourishment is a very
essential ingredient in the recipe of success.

Removal of malnourishment only with dietary supplements is
not sufficient. We also need to address the fitness of the child with appropriate
exercises.

Khel-kud, roughly translated as fun and games is an
effective tool to take care of malnourishement as well as to inculcate the
spirit of fitness in children.

At present, SSYRF conducts such Yogic Medical Camp Retreats
at Ramagiri, Badlapur, with active support and collaboration with the Sree Ramadasa
Medical Mission Society and at Pali, Sudhagad, Raigad.

Kindly fill out the adjoining form to participate in this seva with children and experience the joy of selfless service with unconditional love.

Reach out to Connect Within

Swami Satyananda Saraswati

Providing high quality health care at highly subsidized cost or at no cost to poor and needy patients is the driving force behind the Aarogya Samvardhan activities.

Swami Satyananda Saraswati often termed this as Practical Vedanta, an effective tool to experience empathy and Atmabhava. We reach out and help others not out of pity or charity but with the same intensity as one would if we were ourselves inflicted with the malady. When we reach out selflessly, with nishkaam bhava, then this act becomes a practical means of connecting to the Divine Spark present within each and every one of us. This brings great joy and happiness and speedy spiritual progress.

SSYRF regularly undertakes various Yogic Medical Camp Retreats which are a unique opportunity for spiritual seekers, sevaks and impoverished and underprivileged individuals alike.

At present, SSYRF conducts such Yogic Medical Camp Retreats periodically at

1. Regular Dental Care – Pali Sudhagad, Twice a month

2. Regular Eye Care and Cataract surgeries – Ramagiri, Badlapur, Once a month

3. Outreach Medical camps – In remote villages in Sudhagad Taluka.

Kindly fill out the adjoining form to participate in this uplifting medical care seva and experience the joy of selfless service with unconditional love.

Each Child is inherently Divine

                          –      Swami Satyananda Saraswati

Each and everyone of us has the potential to become an extraordinary individual. Yoga is the science of allowing the hidden genius within each and everyone of us. Swami Satyananda Saraswati and Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati have been guiding millions of aspirants to use the tools of Yoga to enhance one’s own creativity and abilities.

Inspired by the life and teachings of the Masters, SSYRF has formulated Pratibha Samvardhan as a humble effort in this direction for the benefit of the impoverished and underprivileged students.

Under Pratibha Samvardhan, we use the principles of Yoga and integrate them in the classroom to enhance the learning and retention abilities of the students.

At present, we undertake regular Spoken English workshops  with students in Navi Mumbai and in Pali, Sudhagad.

Kindly fill out the adjoining form to participate in offering seva and be a part of the uplifting experience  joy of sharing of knowledge selflessly.

Swadhyaya Satra –

Swadhyaya is an integral part of any yogic and spiritual discipline. Knowledge of the scriptures and actions based on this knowledge form the two wings using which the swan soars high gracefully. In absence of either one of the two, the flight stands aborted. Swadhyaya forms an important way of building both knowledge and action on Yoga in our lives.

After having completed the first three chapters of the Patanjal Yoga Sutras and the entire text of the Prakarana Grantha Tattwa Bodh, we shall now proceed to understand the concepts of Bhakti.

Bhakti has been declared to be the sole panacea in Kali Yuga. Why is this so? How is it that something which appears so simple and easy can be given such an important place? How can Bhakti help me in my day to day life?

Such and many more questions will be dealt with in the current module of the SSYRF Swadhyaya Series.

Narada Bhakti Sutra

Bhakti is the highest form of Sadhana and Yoga. It is both the means as well as the end! It is complete within itself. Bhakti is all encompassing. No wonder, that Bhakti is always spoken of in glowing terms.

Maharshi Narada is easily one of the greatest proponents of Bhakti. This Swadhyaya Module deals with the treatise on Bhakti by Maharshi Narada himself. In this treatise Maharshi not only defines bhakti but also provides a clear and structured method to achieve this elusive science in our lives.

Each Swadhyaya Satra allows serious yoga practitioners to:

  •         Gain a deeper understanding of the science and philosophy of Yoga
  •         Understand the relevance of the Science of Yoga in our lives
  •         Learn to apply these principles and enrich ourselves.

Who should attend

Swadhyaya Satra is meant for participants who wish to understand the deeper meaning of human existence as elucidated by Masters such as Maharshi Patanjali and Bhagavatpada Adi Shankara and Maharshi Narada and apply the timeless wisdom in their lives.

Makar Sankranti is a defining moment in the Indian Calendar. It marks the beginning of the Uttarayana or the Northward journey of the Sun. It is the time when the Sun leaves the Dhanu Rashi (Sagittarius) and enters Makar Rashi (Capricorn). It is a very auspicious juncture in time dedicated to Soorya, the symbol of Life and Prana. Uttarayana finds mention in the Srimad Bhagavad Gita also.

अग्निर्ज्योतिरहः शुक्लः षण्मासा उत्तरायणम्।

Satyam Sumiran Yoga Research Foundation(SSYRF) will be conducting a very special Yoga Sadhana including the use of mantra, pranayama, meditation and a special havan dedicated to Lord Soorya to
commemorate the occasion.

Inspired by the teachings of Serve, Love, Give, yajnya prasad will also be distributed amongst the  underprivileged at this time.

All are cordially invited for this special occasion.

Venue Location: Alaknanda Farms, Khandai, Pali

Date: 14 January 2024, 8.30 am to 12,00 noon

The entire creation, from the subatomic particles to the gigantic galaxies;  from the primitive amoeba to the complex mammals, including we humans, is derived from the five primal elements – Pruthvi (Earth), Aapa (Water), Agni (Fire), Vaayu (Air) and Aakaasha (Space).

Yoga devotes an entire section towards this study and its application for betterment of the different ecosystems. Yogic Ecology management deals with this subtle science of Tattwa Shuddhi to purify, rejuvenate and strengthen these elements, thereby fortifying the entire creation itself.

The science of Yajna and Havan, which forms an important aspect of Yoga Ecology, deals with using the different manifest formation of these primal elements to create a distinct transformation in the Macro-cosmic (brahmanda) as well as the Micro-cosmic (Pindanda) ecosystems.

Learn the basic principles and practices of Yoga Ecology in the beginners course and join SSYRF in doing our bit for the improvement in the Ecosystems – External as well as Internal.

This workshop will be conducted by Dr. Swami Yogapratap Saraswati, a Doctor, a Sanyaasi and founder of SSYRF. He has been facilitating workshops, sessions and classes in diverse subjects of Yoga for more than two decades. In this time, he has also been healing people through a combination of ancient Indian yogic practices and modern day medicine. As founder of SSYRF, he is working tirelessly to support neglected communities in Maharashtra by providing them quality health care, modern education and sustainable employment opportunities. In addition, he conducts regular programs, both online and offline, focussing on environment rejuvenation and eco balancing.

By participating in this workshop you not only get a chance to improve your own health but you also contribute towards the SSYRF movement of nurturing tribal villages and urban slums in Maharashtra. Your dakshina towards this workshop will be used for organising medical camps and educational support activities for these underprivileged communities.
