Yoga For Cancer Workshop

Cancer is on the rampage and it is believed that 1 in 3 to 5 people stand the risk of contracting cancer. There is hardly any family in our surroundings that is untouched by this disease. Given its prevalence and devastating effects on patient and family alike, it is imperative that we take measures to prevent cancer or manage it if already contracted.

Cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide today. It is estimated that one in six deaths are due to Cancer. This deadly and challenging disease strikes terror in the hearts of patients and caregivers alike. The emotional and mental trauma associated with the disease complicates the already bleak outlook.

Studies have shown that yogic practices have strong healing properties which can be used to improve overall wellbeing of an individual and help avoid the disease. For a patient, yoga can improve their quality of life and yogic practices have a positive effect on controlling and reducing the side-effects of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery.

How can we utilise the healing potential of the ancient science of Yoga?

How does Yoga help prevent, heal and manage the ravages of cancer?

What is the correct method to harness the power of Yoga to overcome the terror that is Cancer?

This workshop is designed specifically to address these questions and more.
